Our 20kg topsoil bags are roughly 25L, but exact measurements can vary depending on soil density and conditions.

Blend of Both 50:50 Topsoil Compost Mix is a balanced growing medium combining equal parts premium screened topsoil and PAS100:2018 certified compost. This topsoil and compost mix offers enhanced nutrient content alongside improved soil structure, making it ideal for garden beds, borders, and general planting applications.

The certified compost enriches the mix with organic matter, while the screened topsoil ensures consistent texture, drainage, and easy handling. Supplied in convenient 20kg bags, this compost topsoil mix is well suited to domestic gardens and DIY landscaping projects.

For larger areas or commercial use we also offer this product in a bulk bag.

First please measure the length and width of your area in metres to get your m2 measurement:

Length (m) x Width (m) = m2

For topsoil, please then multiply this by the depth required and by 1.2 to calculate how much you need:

m2 x Depth (m) x 1.2 = tonnes required

For compost:

m2 x Depth (m) x 0.6 = m3

Multiply your m3 measurement by 1000 to give litres of compost required.

• Sourcing: We prioritise local, high-quality green waste and topsoil sourced from greenfield sites only. Because the raw ingredients change seasonally, the exact nutrient profile may fluctuate slightly.
• Storage: Once delivered, we recommend keeping the product covered if not used immediately to prevent the contamination of airborne seeds or saturation from heavy rain.
• Usage: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the specific grade of topsoil or compost ordered is suitable for their intended planting or landscaping project.
